Marissa Barranger

I have been practicing as a therapist for 17 years. Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, each with their own unique challenges and stories. My extensive experience has deepened my understanding of the human experience and the complexities that accompany it.

My primary therapeutic approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a powerful framework that emphasizes psychological flexibility and the importance of accepting our thoughts and emotions while committing to meaningful actions. I believe that through acceptance and mindfulness, we can learn to break free from the struggles that hold us back and align our lives with our core values.

Throughout my career, I have witnessed incredible transformations as clients learn to embrace their authentic selves and cultivate a sense of compassion—both for themselves and others. I am passionate about creating a safe, trusting space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment, and where we can work collaboratively to discover a path toward healing and fulfillment.
